3rd Annual Netball Fun Day Tournament

Deaf Netball Victoria like to thank every player and supporter for their fantastic support and helping with the great atmosphere and making it the biggest one ever. We had a record breaking 12 teams!

Big thanks must go to our volunteers, time keepers, scorers, interpreters and umpires who volunteered their time to help out on the day. Special thanks also must go to Blackburn North Netball Association for providing free courts.

Umpiring Course

Deaf Netball Victoria in partnership with Netball Victoria are organsing umpiring courses for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Victorians. We have recently received extra funding, so the umpiring courses will be FREE!

It is a great opportunity for you all! It’s a good skill to have! This can give you paid work in umpiring in your local association. Deafness does not stop you!

Also if you are interested in doing Level 1 umpiring course, You need to be a member with Deaf Netball Victoria and Netball Victoria.

50 Years of Deaf Netball Victoria DVD

This Special Edition DVD brings you down the memory lanes with old and new photos in Photo Gallery and you can learn how the club started in 1958, but it actually started way back in 1935 in History with Anne and Melissa.

You also get the chance of seeing old film reels and how players actually played back then. Then you hear stories told by former and current players in the 50 year Anniversary Afternoon Tea, which was held on 31^st August 2008. There are also some other video clips for you to look at in Show Reel. Don’t forget to stop by and have a laugh in Outakes.

This DVD was produced by Trudy Fraser, Moviegirl. Her own mother was a Victorian deaf player way back! DNV wish to express their deep thanks to Trudy who worked countless hours on making this happen.

It seems like a long time ago but this DVD will keep the memories fresh every time. This DVD is now ready for RELEASE!
